We all know how amazing the Pantanal is with its extremely diverse wildlife.  From Jaguars and Capybaras to toucans and macaws the place is full of life. We make it even better by extending the tour from the hot Pantanal to the cold Atlantic forest covering Brazil's most bio-diverse wildlife locations in one trip!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • This is a very relaxed trip and involves very little walking 

 

 

SUGGESTED GEAR:

 

  • Digital SLR 

  • Your longest telephoto lens 

  • A wide angle if you are interested in landscapes 

  • A flash with flash bracket (optional gear)

TECHNICAL LEARNINGS

  • Basics of using fill flash in tropical bird photography 

  • Selection and set up of perches 

  • Post processing of images using Lightroom and Photoshop  

COST & TERMS 

  • The cost of this tour is USD 6500 per person in shared accommodation 

  • Single supplement costs an additional USD 400 

  • A deposit amount of USD 1000 is required to book your spot

PAYMENT POLICY

  • A 'non-refundable' deposit of USD 1000 of the Tour fee as booking amount 

  • The payment balance in full is due 90 days prior to the workshop date.

  • All figures per person.

  • Failure to make payments within this timeline could result in tour cancellation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 50% of the payment if canceled 45 days before the tour start date 

  • 75% of the payment if canceled between 30- 45 days before the tour start date 

  • No refund if canceled within 30 days 

  • Changes made by the Tour Operator: The Tour Operator may modify your itinerary where reasonably required in its sole discretion.

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS AT THE WORKSHOP

We usually try not to exceed 8 photographers per workshop to give our guests a unique experience. 

 

WHAT PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR TO BRING? 

We recommend bringing your longest telephoto lens, preferably 300mm or more. A full-frame camera is good to have. Pack a ton of memory cards as well. 

 

A macro lens is highly recommended.

A sturdy tripod or monopod is required. 

Since it can be rainy sometimes you might want to get some sort of a rain jacket as well. 

 

WHAT KIND OF NON-PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR TO BRING?

Laptop, memory card readers, bug spray, sunscreen, silica gel sachets to keep your camera dry  

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your trip investment and yourself while traveling. 

 

Our tours do not take the liability for your flight cancelations, medical expenses, gear damage, accidents, natural disasters, extended stays and other unforeseen emergencies.
